ITINERARY 

DAY 1: ARUSHA

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport you will be met by a member of the team who will transfer you by road to Legendary Lodge Arusha. At the foot of magnificent Mount Meru lies the luxury Legendary Lodge surrounded by lush tropical gardens and century old coffee estate. The exclusivity of this place’s architecture and décor will enthrall your heart.

DAY 2 – 3: LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK & TARANGIRE

Enjoy an early morning breakfast before going on an exciting game en route drive to Tarangire National park, one of Tanzania’s ‘secret’ wildlife havens… teaming with large populations of elephant, predators and their fleet-footed prey. At your hotel take  the opportunity to relax after your long day and enjoy the splendid lodge, the sparkling swimming pool and even treat yourself to a relaxing yet splendid bath in your room.Go on an exciting game drive to Lake Manyara National Park, the park is famous for its unusual tree-climbing lions and the elephant herds it protects. Spoil yourself by either waking up early for the sunrise or taking time to see the golden peach hue over a colorful sundowner cocktail at the lakeshore.

DAY 4-5: NGORONGORO /NGORONGORO CRATER LODGE

Take a scenic drive over Lake Manyara Park escarpment. On arrival at Ngorongoro, you will be transferred to Ngorongoro Crater Lodge for refreshments. The Ngorongoro Crater Conservation area is home to more than 30,000 protected animals. It is an area of spectacular beauty and excellent game viewing, a truly unique safari destination in Africa. The Ngorongoro Crater, once a gigantic volcano, is the largest intact caldera in the world.Wake up early to the views of the Crater, and after breakfast head off for a full day game drive on the Crater floor, abundant with wildlife -view Black rhino that are protected within its rim, giant tusked elephants, big-maned lions stalking the grasslands, and bright pink flamingos crowding the soda lakes.Take a stroll on the rim of the Crater with your guide and relish sunset with a sensational view.In the evening, appreciate an alluring wine at the Wine store, where a special tasting can be arranged.

DAY 6-8: SERENGETI/ SINGITA GRUMETI RESERVE

After breakfast, transfer to Manyara Airstrip, for your scheduled flight to the Singita Grumeti Reserves’s Sabora Tented Camp for lunch. Enjoy your afternoon at leisure by the pool, playing tennis or head out on an afternoon game drive in the Grumeti Private Reserve. Experience another 3 full days exploring the Grumeti Private Reserve including off road game drives and activities back at the lodge in which you’re Camp Manager and Ranger can help you plan for all the fun activities in the Serengeti.Relish twice-daily game drives, with sunrise and sundowner stops. Or take a full day game drive and gorgeous picnic, so that you can spend the entire day out. Singita Sabora Tented Camp is one of three lodges in the enormous Singita Grumeti Reserve, a private concession just outside Serengeti National Park. Take the time to enjoy the private concession, with opportunities to go on peaceful nature walks and thrilling night drives, or visit a Maasai community and gain insight into the day to day lives of this pastoralist community.

DAY 9: ZANZIBAR /MNEMBA ISLAND

Leave the lodge early for your drive to Sasakwa airstrip or drive back to Arusha airstrip to connect to your flight to Zanzibar.On your arrival in Zanzibar, you will be welcomed by your driver who will take you to Muyuni Beach – where a boat will be waiting for a short 10 minute hop to Mnemba Island. Be utterly mesmerised at this idyllic island paradise, your home for the next three days.

DAY 10 – 11: ZANZIBAR

Unwind in absolute peacefulness and do as little or as much as you would like to. We recommend indulging in a private yoga class or wellness treatment in the privacy of your banda. Explore the spectacular underwater world and go diving or snorkeling. Sail into the billowing orange hued sky on a sunset dhow cruise. Curl up with a good book in your beach banda or simply gaze at in the shimmering ocean. Enjoy a spot of retail therapy and peruse beautiful items in the Beach Shop.

DAY 12: DEPARTURE

After breakfast hop on a boat to Muyuni beach where your driver will be waiting to take you to Zanzibar International Airport for your international flights back home.
